But two others enter her realm and try to sway her to action. One hopes that she burn down the center of power in order to quell the potential war caused by the transition of power. A stolen talisman complicates her mission. After being chosen to join the artistic house as a talented singer, Sibyl must undergo the ancient rite of donating one of her ribs to the ruler of the house. All of this is described in lush, beautiful prose. Silva has a unique way with words that makes her writing shimmer and dance. I've read her work in the past and look forward to reading more. This is a wonderful story that demonstrates Silva's talent as a writer.Product details

This book was ok. kind of hard to follow at times the chapters end so abruptly at times. Still reading though.
